Job Summary
- The Customer Service Officer (CSO) serves as the frontline representative of CarePoint Hospitals, ensuring patients, visitors, and callers receive courteous, efficient, and responsive service. The role involves handling inquiries, guiding patients through processes, managing complaints, promoting positive experiences, and supporting operational coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Patient & Visitor Engagement
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
- Provide accurate information about hospital services, departments, procedures, and locations.
- Assist patients with registrations, appointments, and general enquiries.
Communication
- Answer incoming calls promptly, professionally, and courteously.
- Respond to patient/visitor messages and emails in a timely manner.
- Relay relevant information to internal teams to ensure follow‑up.
Customer Support & Problem Resolution
- Listen to concerns and complaints empathetically and respectfully.
- Resolve issues within scope or escalate to appropriate supervisors for action.
- Follow up to ensure customer concerns are addressed satisfactorily.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Social Sciences, or related field.
- Prior customer service experience (healthcare experience preferred).
